Online Account Registration
To simplify shopping and ordering, we recommend that you create an account. This allows you to save and reuse your billing and shipping addresses, view and track your orders, and create a wishlist. All information is securely stored on our servers and we never share our customer’s personal information with any third parties. Once you have created an online account, you may login here

Payment Methods
Sweet Elle accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All payments are processed via our secure payment gateway, Authorize.Net, at the time your order is placed.

Sales Tax
We charge 8.75% sales tax on any order which is shipped to the state of California.

Shipping Options & Rates
We are pleased to offer "Unlimited Furniture Delivery" for our furniture collection, which charges one flat rate fee for multiple items, regardless of weight or size. The flat rate fee is based on the delivery location in relation to our workshop — Local, National, Extended or Alaska/Hawaii. The furniture must be ordered in the same online transaction, and all items will ship at the same time.

Smaller non-furniture items ship via UPS ground or UPS 2nd Day Air, with shipping rates determined by the order total amount. AGA Cookers require very specific delivery methods, instructions and rates. Please refer to our Shipping Information page for more details and pricing.

Estimated Delivery Time
The approximate delivery time is noted on each product page. Sweet Elle custom made furniture takes 4-6 weeks to complete, plus an additional 14-21 days for shipping transit time. Sweet Elle makes every effort to provide the most accurate delivery dates and lead times; however the Buyer understands that these are estimates only and are subject to change. Sweet Elle cannot be held liable for for loss or damage due to delay regardless of the reason for the delay. Sweet Elle works very hard to fulfill our commitments on delivery dates; however, unforeseen problems may arise. Non-furniture items such as accessories, decor and swatches will ship out with 2 business days and can be delivered via ground shipping or by 2-day air.

Swatches
Wooden swatch samples of any Sweet Elle standard paint or stain finishes are available to help you decide on a color choice. Order up to 3 different swatches for $25 here. Swatches ship free of charge via UPS, and the $25 charge can be refunded if all swatches ordered are returned to us by mail. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Customized Products
We are able to customize any item to your specifications, or make new styles to order. To request a quote for customizations, please visit our Custom Orders page.

Canceling an Order
All of our furniture, fabrics and home decor products are custom-made upon order (or custom cut in the case of fabric by the yard) and are non-cancelable, non-returnable, non-refundable with the exception of manufacturer's defects or damages. Customers will have 24 hours from placement of custom orders to cancel. After 24 hours, a 50% deposit will be retained by Sweet Elle and cannot be refunded. As our furniture is hand crafted please allow a 2 - 4 inch tolerance on all dimensions. All prices in our printed mailings and online store are in US dollars.

Return Policy
Custom-Made Furniture: All our products are made-to-order and for that reason we cannot accept returns. These custom pieces are non-cancelable, non-returnable and non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. Damaged merchandise will be replaced with identical merchandise where possible. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. Furniture that is refused because it does not fit through entry way will be refunded minus a 30% restocking fee.

Quick Ship Furniture: If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your furniture, we will exchange or refund pieces from our Quick Ship Collection. Please notify us within seven days of receiving your order. We charge an 18% re-stocking fee. We are not able to refund third party shipping fees. Associated costs with returning the furniture to our California workshop are the responsibility of the customer.

AGA Cookers: AGA Cookers are made to order and are not returnable. A trained representative will be present during delivery to inspect and install your AGA cooker.

Non-Furniture Items: Sweet Elle cushions and pillows are made-to-order, and fabric by the yard is cut to order. For that reason we cannot accept returns. These custom pieces are non-cancelable, non-returnable and non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. If an item is damaged, it will be replaced or the amount credited back to your card.

Guarantee of Quality
All Sweet Elle Handmade Furniture is artisan made by hand, in southern California. We are proud to use the term, Hand Crafted in the USA. Each piece is solid wood and crafted using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. Hand finished pieces and wood characteristics will vary, knots, cracks and variations in the wood are seen as the character of the piece and are not defects in any way. We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment and also require your inspection and signature upon delivery. However, if you discover a defect in your furniture, please contact us prior to signing acceptance of delivery. Sweet Elle's furniture and upholstery pieces conform to samples display don their website. Measurements are an approximation, and photographs are considered a representation of the merchandise and may not be an accurate representation of the color. Sweet Elle cannot guaratneee the grain and texture of wood and painted surfaces, the natural patinas of wood, the dye lot of fabrics or the finished color on any other materials. Slight variations in size and color can be expected.

Update Account Information
After registering for an online account, you will be able to login to update your mailing and shipping addresses, change your email preferences and/or change your account password. Should you forget your account password, click on the "Forgot Your Password" link on the Login page and you will be sent an email to reset the password.

Viewing Orders
To view your orders, check tracking information or order notes, please login to your account.

Mailing List Sign Up
Sign up for our mailing list on the bottom of the page, when you register for an online account or when you place an order. We periodically send updates on new products, special events and news that you may find interesting. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking a link at the bottom of a mailing or visiting your account page. Sweet Elle never shares or sells any of our customer's private information, including email addresses.

Disclaimer
Availability, prices and delivery rates are subject to change. There may be errors in the prices, descriptions or images of certain merchandise, and we must reserve the right to restrict orders of those items.

Intellectual Property
All images and content on the Sweet Elle website and all Sweet Elle social media are the sole property of Sweet Elle. if you need to use our pictures or logo to showcase our product on your website please contact us in advance. We accept the use in social media and pinning for design representation and ask that Sweet Elle receives an appropriate credit.
